I wasn’t tagged, but I got this tag from sociallyawkwardbookworm, she said she tagged anyone who wanted to do it and hey, I’m bored and it’s 4AM so why not.
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Short answer is I don’t! I just let it grow and then pick whatever book I feel like reading at the moment. I have a to-read shelf and a want-to-read-in-2015 shelf for the books I really want to get to this year for sure.
Is your TBR mostly print or eBook?
Definitely print. I prefer physical books but I do own a kindle for the books I can’t get my hands on as well as when I’m out and about.
How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?
Honestly I just pick whatever I most feel like reading. Though a lot of the books in my TBR are books I don’t own, so the ones I actually own will always be a priority until I get on a book buying spree.
A book that’s been on your TBR list the longest?
.
I have plenty that’s been on it for years, whoops. The one that’s been on mine the longest is actually a Norwegian book, Charlotte Isabel Hansen. It’s the third book in the series about Jarle Klepp. I read the first one many years ago (and loved it), then started the second but kind of forgot to finish it so they’ve both been chilling in my bookshelf ever since then. I’ll get back to them. Some day.
.
A book you recently added to your TBR?
.
I added Slasher Girls & Monster Boys, an anthology of young adult thrillers and horrors. Some of the authors included in it are Marie Lu, Kendare Blake, and Nova Ren Suma. It seemed interesting so onto my TBR it went. And look at that cover, it’s great.

.
A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
.
Lois Lane: Fallout. I mean, look at that. It’s awesome. I want it on my shelf right this instant. It sounds good as well, I love me some Lois Lane, but I admit the cover is part of my strong urge to buy it. I’m weak when it comes to good book covers, but then again I can miss out on good books that way by going straight past a bad cover in the book store. Oh well.
.
A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading.
.
Ouch, that’s harsh. But unfortunately it happens. Not too long ago I went and deleted quite a few books I knew for sure I don’t have interest in anymore, but there are still quite a few unlikely reads on there, like P.S. I Love You. I’m not that into pure romance books and “chick lit” (I hate that term, this genre needs a new name). I’ll watch the movie though, eventually, as I’ve owned that one for years too.
.
An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?
.
I don’t think I have any unpublished books on my TBR at the moment. I need to pay more attention, it seems. I’m gonna go with a recently published book that I’m excited for instead, which is More Happy Than Not. It seems great, I want it now.

.
A book on your TBR that everyone has read but you?
.
Daughter of Smoke & Bone. I want to read it so badly but I can’t for the life of me find the US hardcovers for an affordable price. The bookstores here only sell the UK covers and I’m not about that life. The US ones are gorgeous, I drool every time I see those spines. Literally the only thing keeping me from reading this book is that I can’t find the right cover. Sigh.
.
A book on your TBR that you’re dying to read?
.
The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender. Not only is this one of the most gorgeous covers I’ve ever seen (pictures does it no justice, you have to see it in real life) but I’ve heard nothing but great things about this book. It seems really unique and I can’t wait to read it. Plus the title is great too. Everything about this one just seems amazing.
.
A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?
.
The Martian. It’s everywhere and everyone keeps telling me to read it. I will do it sometime before the movie comes out, I promise.

How many books are on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
Not that many, actually. I try to not to let it get too out of hand. Currently I’ve got 135.

So that was fun. I don’t really know who I’d tag because this is a brand new blog and I don’t know anyone yet. If you want to do this, consider yourself tagged! Feel free to post a link to your post in the comments. 🙂
